Fantasy football strategy question?

There? ? my first season playing the FF and I'm going to the league for weeks 16 and 17. Looking ahead to week 17? wise to try and play the players from teams that has nothing to play for, to be off-limits often the rest of the teams their devices start? (As the game JP Losman, for example, instead of playing Grossman)? or should I stick with my early start, regardless of potential play-off?

    Definently play the players the will be in the entire game. The Bears have locked everything up, and have absolutely nothing to play for these last 2 weeks. So it wouldn’t make much sense for them to play their starts the whole game - they will likely treat it like a preseason game. Go with people like JP, or others who will be playing the whole game. Even if they aren’t the best at their position, they are more likely to give you good results these next 2 weeks than players on teams that are awaiting the playoffs.

    You have to stick very close to ESPN and other sports news venues during the week. Watch roster updates, some of your starters will still be playing, but some will sit. Do finalize your roster until the very last minute.
    Good luck, this is when fantasy football gets tough.

    you are on the right track!

    although your example might be an odd ball one as i think Rex will stay in regardless not for winning purpses but for his convidence level going into the playoffs.

    but in many other cases yes plan for some starters to sit.

    now in LT’s case they are trying to lock home field and will need to win the last two but imagine you will see him play a reduced role especially if leading the game.

    your best bets are going to be players on teams battling for a playoffs spot. i am not sure where the bills stand for the playoffs but if they are out i would go with someone like Garcia (eagles) who need big games to get in the playoffs

    Depends on the lock, hopefully you have some players that are still hungry to make the playoffs and those that want to improve on certain areas. if jamal lewis is available, grab him. if your reserves are so so, then pick up some better players from availabilities. and about grossman, don’t u have or could get someone with more skills at QB?
