Do you agree with the level of resolution in EPL this year? There should be an arbiter of TV just like that can shackle? intervain whenever the referee in midlle is going wrong? One must get the benefit of what technology? l? in now and shackle day to Wimbledon that are using technology Hawkeye then perch? not in the game of football?

    j.cole could have sent off

    mikel still in the game

j.cole again shud have been sent off

    saha penalty given…

final score with proper video would be 2- nil excluding tevez goal….

Well, I agree with you all. Alicia you are very right too. But dont forget that if Mikel wasn’t sent off like that (without a previous warning!) ths game would not have ended like it did. Chelsea was one man down which is why Joe Cole had to make those tackles that we all agree he should have been sent off for. Had Mikel not been sent off he would not have had the need to make those tackles.

    Plus

Man U regained confidence after the red card.

Sahas dive did not do Chelsea any justice too!2004/2005 season a similar thing happened (at OLD TRAFFORD! when Man U ended Arsenals 49 unbeaten run), when Rooney faked a foul against Sol Campbell to get a penalty.

I think referees are scared of Man U fans (being the hooligans they are known to be, Remember what happened at Roma. oops they are meeting again this season)

Chelsea might have still lost the game, but not this way. Its about time something is done about teams being robbed all the time at Old Trafford!

Yes I do. It should be used for:
1 Whether a ball crosses the goal line.
2 Off sides if ref and linesmen are not sure.
3 Whether penalties should be given unless blatantly obvious.
4 Dubious tackles and more importantly whether a player has dived.
As to the game itself Mikel deserved to be sent off. He went in with studs showing. With a tackle like that you do not deserve a warning - you get an early bath. Joe Cole was very lucky to stay on the pitch. Saha however should have been sent off for blatant diving. At the end of the day the better team won. Players should not decide games as you suggest. We have seen how Chelsea players try to intimidate refs and it is not acceptable. If players flaunt the rules they pay the consequences. Refs make mistakes from time to time as they are only human but things have a habit of balancing out over a season.
